2016 High Island - 06
A Great White Egret and Roseate Spoonbill are not small birds (both have 50-60" wingspans) yet it always amazes me how they can navigate dense trees in flight. Their skill is similar to a buck with a large rack being able to run through a forest we can barely walk through. These shots give further perspective on the bird and nest density at this site.
