Kodiak 9/24 - 02 Bear
After visiting the horses on one side of the road, we made our way back to the road to see people watching a bear on the other side of the road. This guy was enjoying his sun time and was just relaxing on the bank of the river. I can't quite make out what is next to his right paw. It might be remains of a salmon or it could be a clam. My guess is a salmon. He would lay there and watch all of us staring at him. Every once in a while, he would shift positions. We ended up leaving him there so we could continue our trip towards Fossil Beach. Neither the bear nor horses were there when we drove back home several hours later.
Thanks,
