Hatcher Pass - 2

As pretty as the rugged mountains were, the ground cover was just as beautiful. The entire area was covered in 2-3 inch tall blooming plants of interesting texture and color. The first shot is what it looks like from a standing position. The second and third shots are me testing my old knees and capturing some of the detail. With a short growing season, it seems plants have more intense colors and blooms all at the same time.
