Video Surprise

A fun thing about a YouTube video is that I can see the number of views (not who, just views). A lot of you took the time to watch the hawk video and that makes me happy.

A sharp-eyed recipient of the hawk video email noted a significant sized snake in the first few seconds of the video (I missed it). I went back and captured that action also. I cropped the video a bit to better see the snake. The snake is approaching 4 feet long and I'm pretty certain it is a rat snake (a good guy). You see the snake freeze when the hawk flew by on its way to the pigeon. If you are quick, you can see the hawk glance over at the snake on his way to the pigeon. The snake proceeded to a hole under my A/C that I had thought was a frog hole (may have been but no longer!). I have seen long snake skins on my patio before that are probably from this guy. This snake can stay. I like him (as opposed to a copperhead I eliminated a couple of weeks ago).
